When is the Hour of Code?

Anybody can host an Hour of Code anytime, but the grassroots campaign goal is for tens of millions of students to try an Hour of Code during December 7-13, in celebration of Computer Science Education Week. Is it one specific hour? No. You can do the Hour of Code anytime during this week. (And if you can't do it during that week, do it the week before or after).

Try the tutorials at:

https://uk.code.org/learn

You will find a Minecraft; Star Wars and Frozen tutorial to encourage everyone to have a go!

Testimonials from our Digital Leaders:

Please welcome our new Digital Leaders for this year.

Please welcome our new Digital Leaders for this year. 1

A big thank you to the Digital Leaders this year for all their hard work.  You have given tutorials to the staff on blogging and coding; made stop-go animation videos; tested out new apps and programs; helped at computer club; had class responsibilities for sorting out iPads and been super e-safety ambassadors.

For those of you leaving Mersham this year I wish you all the best and hope you continue to be inspired by IT in your new school.

I look forward to working with Beau again and to recruit new Digital Leaders for the next academic year.
Regards

Mrs Lansdell
