“With my daughter already attending Mersham Primary, and her younger brother likely to follow in her footsteps, I have a vested interest in making the school the best it can be. I have extensive corporate experience, having been part of Leadership teams for several national businesses, managing large teams and taking a strategic view to organisational development. Much of my career has been spent winning new business, and I hope to use these skills to attract additional funding for the school, and to maximise the use of its current resources.”

“I have lived locally for the last 30 years and worked for the NHS for about the same length of time. I am passionate about supporting my local community and have been involved in a number of local events over the years, both fundraising and sporting events. A few years ago I thought it was time I found a way of giving something back and perhaps use some of the knowledge and experience I have learned over the years through my work in the NHS. The role of a school governor really appealed to me.

Mersham School is a fabulous village school and I was so pleased to have been selected to join the Board of Governors as a Local Government Authority representative. My background in strategic development, governance, assurance and analysing performance has been useful over the last two years and I look forward to offering my support to the school leadership team over the next few years.”
