Story-box project

The school  has been involved in a story-box project with St Teresa's Primary School.

We created a story- box and then swapped with the year 6 class at St Teresa's. From the boxes, we created stories and picked a winner and a runner-up.

All of the stories that we received were amazing, so well done to everyone in Year 6!

The winners from St Teresa's are:

Meerkats (6)

Ceska Patindol

Jack

St Teresa's chose: Carmen and Harold as our worthy winners! Well done! There were some fantastic entries :)

Science trip to the Norton Knatchbull

Greetings from Bowles 2017!

We all arrived safely on Monday and settled into our rooms, unpacked and then went and found our lunch which was spaghetti bolognese followed by sponge and custard.  We are responsible for serving the food to our tables and clearing everything afterwards before we are allowed to have free time.

So far some of us have been skiing, completed the zip wire, learnt to kayak, scored lots of points in archery and been for night walks and orienteering around the centre.  We have completed many team games including negotiating our team over boiling lava using tyres, getting a ball down various lengths of guttering into a bucket and passing our team through a spiders web!  We are getting much better at listening to the instructors and our team mates and completing the challenges.

We have our own common room where we have hot chocolate and biscuits and today we had our first opportunity to spend some pennies in the tuck shop.  We are all having fun and enjoying our experiences and looking forward to tomorrow.

Our apologies but the wifi is not strong enough to upload some of our many pictures but we will keep trying.

Best wishes from Churchill Class.
